More than 2,200 tri-state area real estate brokers and consumers flooded into the Puck Building on Sunday, March 30 to view, learn about — and potentially buy — a new luxury condo from the more than 40 buildings exhibiting in the city’s first-ever condo showcase.
Presented by the New York Observer and supported by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), this event was the brainchild of Reba Miller, President of RP Miller and Associates, (who also served as a consultant) and the Observer.
Developments in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens showcased their newest and most luxurious developments in a singular opportunity that brought crowds of people to this unique one day, one place “open house.”
A number of developers report sales made during and following the event.
Complimentary cocktails were created by Pravda Vodka and food was provided by Hudson Yards Catering. The Piers Lawrence Quartet performed jazz throughout the day and 1,000 lucky consumers received a gift bag stuffed with such items as a bottle of MASH Water Drink; a Bed, Bath and Beyond coupon; a gift from OXO, a tape measure from lounge sponsor Ligne Roset and items from the developers. Gracious Home provided the shopping bag the guests used to gather information and items from the exhibitors.
Don’t miss the next Observer Living: Condo Showcase on September 21, 2008 where exhibitors will include NYC, Philadelphia, International and Country Home properties.
