Jacky Teplitzky

Jacky Teplitzky is one of New York City’s premier residential real estate brokers. A managing director at Prudential Douglas Elliman and the leader of the Jacky Teplitzky team, she has sold more than $600,000,000 in Manhattan properties.
Jacky works with buyers, sellers and investors. For the latter, she has a special connection: she was born in Chile and raised in Israel (where she served as a sergeant in the army) and lived in Europe before settling in New York City. Her global background allows her to work with a diverse client base.
Jacky’s success is deeply rooted in her market intelligence, marketing prowess (a New York Times cover story heralded her as a “marketing warrior”) and superior client service. Her understanding of her buyers’ needs and her strong negotiating tactics has led her buyer-clients to regularly and faithfully go back to her when their housing requirements change. As for Jacky’s seller-clients, her skills here are also outstanding. Between January and October of this year, she had over 65 signed contracts totaling in the millions of dollars. This is a great testament to Jacky’s capabilities when, at a time when the housing market in New York was at its lowest point in many years, that she was able to operate – and thrive – in a successful manner.
Jacky has been featured in more than 15 New York Times cover stories as well as in numerous articles in USA Today, The New York Post, Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal. Jacky has appeared on all the major local television stations and on “Good Morning, America,” and Bloomberg TV. A New York State Department certified real estate instructor, Jacky has presented at prestigious forums such as the 92nd Street Y, The Real Estate Board of New York, Smith Barney, Yeshiva University, and Barnard College. She is an adjunct professor at New York University. Jacky presented at the May 2009 “Observer Living: Take Advantage of Today’s Real Estate Market” conference.
